Concert update

Sadly we have had to cancel our December concerts because of the lockdown, but in place of these we have an exciting new schedule  for the next four weeks:
 
17 + 24 November at 7.30
Wagner Meistersinger and Parsifal Overtures
 1 + 8 December at 7.30
Rachmaninoff Symphonic Dances movement 1
Tchaikovsky Pas de deux from The Nutcracker
 
We hope we may be able to have a reduced orchestra rehearsing in person on 8 December. If so the rehearsal will be live streamed for the rest of the orchestra and for anyone else who would like to join us.
 

Join the virtual rehearsals 

Everyone is welcome to join us on Zoom for these rehearsals, but players who are not  current LMO members are asked to register by paying  £10 per rehearsal, or £30 for all four rehearsals.  Payment should be made using the Donate page on the LMO website:

(any additional donations will be very welcome). 

The Zoom link for the rehearsals and a link to the parts will be emailed to everyone who has registered (except for current LMO members who have access to these through the website).
 
A flyer is attached with all the details and the instrumentation for each piece.  Do join us – you will be made very welcome!  And do forward the flyer to anyone else you think might be interested. 
 
And…..
On Saturday 9 January (3-6pm) we will be having our first New Year's Workshop with polkas, waltzes, roses, gladiators, and Beethoven arranging Auld Lang Syne!!  More details to follow.
