    Join us online during our normal orchestra rehearsals

    We are expecting to be able to resume rehearsals in person from 17th May but, since the space is restricted, the rehearsals will be live streamed and some LMO members will be joining on Zoom. We would like to invite guests to join us online during these rehearsals for our summer concert on 27th June, which is in collaboration with the Queen's Park Singers (https://queensparksingers.wildapricot.org/ ).
     

    Repertoire:

    The repertoire we will be covering for the concert is:

    • Fauré: Requiem

    • Wagner: Prelude to the Meistersingers

    • Janacek: Rikadla

    The full rehearsal schedule is shown below.  Please note that the Fauré Requiem has no oboes and relatively little for the rest of the wind.  As a result of this we have changed our ticketing options to be more suitable for guests.  We are offering two ticket bundles (3 for £20, 5 for £40) and you can choose which rehearsals you want to join.  The link to the sheet music is below so that you can check your part before booking.
     

    Rehearsal schedule (all rehearsals start at 7.30pm):

    • 18th May - Wagner's Meistersingers and the firsthalf of the Janacek Rikadla

    • 25th May - Wagner's Meistersingers and the second half of the Janacek Rikadla

    • 1st June - Fauré Requiem

    • 8 June - Wagner's Meistersingers and Fauré Requiem

    • 15 June - Wagner's Meistersingers and the full Jancek Rikadla


    The sharp eyed amongst you will notice that we are not holding online rehearsals for the rehearsal prior to the concert.  This rehearsal is with the choir and our musical director will be focussed on the performance and so will be unable to provide a satisfactory online experience for guests.
