    Description:

Join the London Medical Orchestra and Queen's Park Singers for a captivating concert celebrating French Romantic and 20th-century music for choir and orchestra.

The program opens with Lili Boulanger's optimistic fantasy D'un matin de printemps. We then transition to the serenity of Fauré's Cantique de Jean Racine, a beloved choral classic which is followed by the dramatic flair of Bizet's iconic Carmen Suite No. 1, bringing the vibrant world of opera to the concert stage.
    The enchanting rhythms of
Delibes's Cortège de Bacchus from his ballet Sylvia open the second half, and the evening culminates with the spiritual intensity of Poulenc's Stabat Mater, a deeply moving and profound choral and orchestral experience.
This programme displays the rich tapestry of French musical expression, showcasing both orchestral brilliance and choral majesty. An unmissable event for connoisseurs of heavenly music!
