Rehearsal Schedule

Spring Term 2010

January         5     12    19     26

February        2      9     23    (No rehearsal on 16 Feb)

Concert:  Sunday 21st March at 6pm at St Mary Brookfield, Dartmouth Park Hill, NW5

Pre concert rehearsal 1pm

          The concert proceeds will be for orchestra funds

Concert 27th June at 6pm at St Mary Brookfield, Dartmouth Park Hill, NW5 and profits for Motor Neurone Disease Association  (TBC)

 

 

  

 

  • Rehearsals are from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Tuesdays.  It is important you arrive in good time for a 7.30 start.

 

  •  When there is a match on at the Arsenal arena we do finish in time to avoid the crowds but also please note that we only have 20 parking spaces allotted on football match days.

 

  • Unless you hear otherwise rehearsals are held if there is snow or otherwise inclement weather but understandably some may not be able to attend.  If in doubt check this web site.
  • The concert day rehearsal is usually from 1 to 4pm.

 

  • All our music is hired from libraries.  If you borrow parts please make sure you give them back after the end of the concert. Also, if you cannot make a rehearsal please make sure the music is brought in by someone else.  This is particularly important with woodwind and brass. As one might expect, lost parts have to be paid for and they can be very expensive and difficult to find.

 

  • Fees are currently set at £70 a term (£35 concessions) or £210 pa (£105 concessions)

 

  • Dress for Concerts: Men black tie, ladies black.
