The Mutopia Project: Free sheet music for everyone

Classical and Contemporary Music

The Mutopia Project offers sheet music editions of classical music for free download. These are based on editions in the public domain, and include works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Handel, Mozart, and many others.

www.mutopiaproject.org                             A brilliant site

The classical music website  www.classical.com.

As with many music sites, you can buy downloads, but the real plus is that it offers an instant listening service.  Subscribers pay the cost of a CD each month (£7.99 + VAT)  and for that can listen to any of >120,000 classical tracks 24x7 and can download a CD worth of music (8 tracks) to keep each month – and to keep after the subscription has ended.  You can also create playlists (concerts of multiple tracks) either just for yourself or to be available for all other subscribers.

They have just launched classical.com on Internet radios, devices that enable you to listen to (normally) radio stations from around the world, without using a PC.  These devices work either stand alone or connect to a sound system. See www.my-noxon.com
